DANIEL SMITH

Daniel Smith was born in Vancouver, Canada, and currently lives in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he has been working as a choreographer for his company Dans Myth since 2022. Most recently in Summer 2024 presenting work at the tanzfaktur in Cologne and the Weltkunstzimmer in Düsseldorf.
In October 2024, he will premiere a new piece in Göttingen in collaboration with the Boat People project. In addition to his work in the free scene, he has also created for the Ballett am Rhein.
Most recently, he was a soloist with Ballett am Rhein and received his dance training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in Canada
