The Devil in Me

A dance theater piece (created in cooperation with Boat People Projekt and Fithe Figurentheater)

In THE DEVIL IN ME, two dancers embark on a search for the origin and definition of evil. This is done through narrative means as well as dance and puppet theater.
What exactly is evil and who has the authority to interpret it, given the countless religious and political conflicts and their different perspectives on the world? Driven and supported by the specially composed music created for the production.

a special dance performance for St. Andrew's Church, which will be performed as part of the Düsseldorf festival.
Set to a varied selection of organ music by Jehan Alain, Felix Mendelssohn and Jean Anglais, the choreography attempts to depict the pain and brutal absurdity of war in an abstract way, while at the same time searching for a way to overcome the darkness and find new hope.
